Vera Espindola Rafael is an Advisor to the Ministry of Agriculture Mexico and the founder of Kua’nu Raices Agrícolas Consulting. She has a track record of defining approaches, from global norms of sustainable practices to tailored approaches that lead to sustainable supply chain development and sourcing. Her technical skills and knowledge lie in thematic issues of rural development and supply chain management; sourcing strategies as direct trade; farm level issues such as strengthening smallholder organizations, participatory adult learning, internal management systems for sustainable compliance, climate change mitigation and adaptation and sustainable agriculture practices.
