Katherine Nolte Ferguson is the Managing Director of Sustainable Harvest Coffee Importers and Head of Specialty for Sucafina North America, where she leads strategic specialty coffee trading and sustainability initiatives within one of the world’s leading green coffee supply networks.
Kat has been active in the coffee industry since 2000, building expertise across multiple segments of the global coffee value chain. She entered the specialty coffee trade in 2011 as financial controller for a specialty importer and later advanced supply chains and access to international markets through work with Twin Trading in East Africa.
A certified Q Grader, Kat has also served as chair of the Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) Sustainability Council, reflecting her long-standing commitment to fostering greater environmental and social sustainability in the coffee sector. Her work focuses on cultivating equitable relationships across coffee producer communities, roasters, and global trading partners to advance meaningful impact throughout the supply chain.
