Alexander Scholtz is a coffee professional with more than two decades of experience spanning green coffee trading, quality management, and roasting technology. Since 2017, he has served as the Australia-based sales partner for Probat and Reicat, supporting roasters across Australia, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and the Philippines. Operating from his Sydney showroom—home to his much-loved electric 1kg roaster “Evana”—Alexander works closely with businesses of all sizes on equipment selection, roasting strategy, and technical training.
Prior to this role, Alexander spent nearly a decade with Neumann Kaffee Gruppe in Madrid as Senior Green Coffee Trader and Quality Manager for Coprocafe Ibérica. There he led global procurement of washed and natural Arabica coffees, oversaw quality control across multiple origins, and managed a high-performing team. His work combined sensory evaluation, supply chain expertise, and people leadership to ensure consistent quality and long-term producer relationships.
Known for his practical approach and deep understanding of both green and roasted coffee, Alexander bridges the worlds of origin, trade, and technology—helping roasters translate quality potential into flavor in the cup.
